Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2022-10-07. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. His figures poke fun at throwaway culture, power and the established art world. Most pieces last only a few hours – until the city's rubbish trucks come by.
