Who is behind Art Is Trash?

This clip from 2022-10-27 shows a street piece by Art Is Trash, the project of Barcelona-based artist Francisco de Pájaro. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market. Most pieces last only a few hours – until the city's rubbish trucks come by.
