Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2020-12-16. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection.
