Pencil drawing of a figure – street art Barcelona

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

The video from 2026-10-07 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. His figures poke fun at throwaway culture, power and the established art world. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain.
