Francisco de Pájaro – Art Is Trash

The video from 2022-09-03 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection.
