About Art Is Trash

The video from 2022-02-18 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York.
