Pintando a la gente en tiempos de Pandemia.

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

The video from 2020-07-25 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain.
