El Arte es Basura

Francisco de Pájaro – Art Is Trash

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2021-01-21. Since 2009 he has turned rubbish left on the pavement – boxes, bags, mattresses, old furniture – into wild, comic figures painted on the spot. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York. Most pieces last only a few hours – until the city's rubbish trucks come by.
