Black and yellow figure – Barcelona street art

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

This clip from 2026-08-19 shows a street piece by Art Is Trash, the project of Barcelona-based artist Francisco de Pájaro. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection.
